Founded in 1959, DESAPRO has a rich history of innovation and excellence in the design and manufacturing of premium transit, rack mount (Aluminum & Composite), and equipment cases. 1959
The company was originally incorporated in Dachsen, Switzerland, under the name EDAK, marking the beginning of its journey in precision manufacturing and engineering excellence.
1971
The first MILEX 19" rack system was successfully shipped, representing a significant milestone in the company’s product innovation and delivery capabilities.
1981
The incorporation of the US manufacturing site in Melbourne, Florida, strengthened our global presence, enhancing production capacity & expanding our reach into the North American market.
2015
The acquisition of EDAK Packaging Solutions AS by Desapro AG marked a pivotal moment, uniting two industry leaders in advanced packaging & precision engineering under one brand.
